Centco Architecturals Metals, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Started as a contract glazing firm in 1982 by Larry Dale, the company has evolved into a full service architectural metals company servicing the glazing industry. Established as an offshoot to Central Glass Company, an urban, center-city glass shop in operation since 1946, Centco Glazing was set up to specifically serve the construction industry as a contract glazing company. Centco continued as such until the major construction downturn of the late 1980's and early 1990's. At that point, using the years of experience gained fabricating aluminum products for Central Glass Company and then for Centco, Larry Dale created a wholesale aluminum enterprise as an adjunct to the contract glazing business. Eventually the fabrication business became Centco Architectural Metals and the contract glazing division was phased out.
Through the years Centco has experienced a controlled, steady growth. Our company offers a number of products and services to its customers, from our fully tested CPW-200 operating window system, custom doors, storefronts and curtainwalls (all in a wide array of finishes), to in-house production of shop drawings and fabrication of our customer's metal.
